"Jared & Abby brought us on a great running tour of Boston, which really gave us a "feel" for the orientation of the city. They showed us many of the sights and explained where we should go back to and visit at a more leisurely pace, when we had some spare time. They were helpful and very well-informed and, most importantly of all, extremely easy going and friendly. They ran at a pace that suited us and were extremely good value (compared to similar companies that we have experienced in other cities). We cannot recomment them highly enough."

"This run tour was the highlight of my trip to Boston! I did a run tour during my trip to NYC which was great, but this company was SO much better and much more personal! I'm training for a marathon and this was the perfect way for me to keep up with my mileage while seeing the best of the city. Abby and Jared were quick to respond by email and flexible on my running needs. They made themselves available at 10 am on a Monday, even though I wasn't with a group. I didn't know much about Boston so I asked them to come up with a route they thought I would enjoy. I told them between 7-9 miles and it ended up being 8.6 mi.
They showed up at our meeting spot, right on time, despite the weather being AWFUL! Freezing wind and rain, but they were still up for the run! We braved the monsoon and saw lots of cool sites like Newbury Street, Fenway Park, Boston Common, Bunker Hill, Beacon Hill, and some bridges with really great views of the city. Along the way, they offered lots of interesting history, along with quirky fun facts about Boston. Oh, and did I mention they let me set the pace? They were really fun to listen to and a true pleasure to run with. They also recommended fun places to eat and drink during my stay. By the end of the tour, I felt like I should hug them goodbye! We had truly been through a crazy, but fun Monday morning together! The price for the tour was very fair, in my opinion ($30). This was the perfect way to see the best of Boston while getting in my regular work out. Also, Jared recommended I check out the Boston Public Library as we ran past it, which I did later and it was amazing! Try RunBoston, you won't be disappointed!"

"I had a great run with Abby and Jared and highly recommend RunBoston: At 6:30 sharp on a Sunday morning, Jared and Abby were raring to go and having already been in the city for a few days and seen most of the sights, they provided me with further insight into numerous sights in Boston and were very flexible adapting the routes to the sights i wanted to see and eliminating those already crossed off. They were also very flexible with pace and duration. Would definitely use again and great value for money!"

"We had an absolutely fantastic tour with Abby and Jared and this was undoubtedly one of the high points of our trip. Having never been to Boston, we started with this tour on our first full day in the city and I can tell you that we learned more during our one hour running tour than we learned on any other tour we took over the course of our trip. We also got fantastic advice for spots to eat and great tips about the Boston Marathon thanks to Abby. Any advice we got far exceeded anything we read elsewhere because it was straight from the local experts. Abby and Jared were high energy (even at 6 a.m.!) and funny - overall, this was the perfect way to see the city with fantastic company. Next time we're back in town, Run Boston will figure prominently in our plans."

"My run with Abby and Jared was a highlight of my Boston vacation. They were excellent! First of all, through email, they asked what kind of a running experience I was looking for - length of run, landmarks I wanted to pass by and even the pace I like to run. I wanted to go for an hour long run - and they planned the route so I didn't have to think about it. I wanted to pass by Fenway Park, and the Boston Marathon Finish Line.. and they threw in a bunch of other landmarks I hadn't thought of. They were knowledgable, had interesting personal stories to throw in, and were very cool people to run with. They are the sort of people who make you feel like a friend right away. I was surprised and grateful that they even took a couple of pictures for me to have of me at the landmarks I wanted to pass. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who enjoys running!"

"This is something that every runner new to Boston or just visiting should try out. Jared and Abby were very flexible on where to meet and helpful in getting directions on how to get there. Where you run was also very customizable- there were about 10-15 different options on the website, but they let you choose yourself exactly where you want to go. The tour was very imformative- we covered many different landmarks in Boston such as the Commons, Fenway Park, and the finish line to the Boston Marathon. After the tour, they were also very helpful in helping my family find things to do and places to eat in Boston. Overall, I recommend this to any runner who wants to see the city."

"My husband and I had the pleasure of doing a evening running tour with RunBoston on August 10th. Jared and Abby picked us up at our hotel and then took us out on an excellent tour of pretty well all of the city. We had a blast!! They supplied us with lot's of great info about Boston and answered any questions we had. We even had the opportunity if we wanted to stop and have pics taken a long the way. We would highly recommend this tour to all:) Thanks again Jared and Abby!!!!"

"This is it! Whatever you have planned for Boston won't be complete unless you meet the guides from Run Boston for a tour. My wife and I jogged with the founders and not only did we learn lots of interesting things about Boston, but we made some new friends. This is a small, family owned business with world class customer service and two of the nicest guides I have ever met. They worked at our pace, took pictures for us and even bought us post-run coffee. Trust me when I tell you that this should be at the top of your list in Boston. Wether you run marathons or just jog for fitness you will leave this run wishing you had more time to keep going." "RunBoston is a winner! Jared and Abby are passionate about running, Boston, and the clients they serve and it shows. From booking the run to meeting place to actually running and the following morning coffee, everything about RunBoston is done with tons of communication and professionalism and above all FUN! We learned a ton about Boston and got good exercise too. Highly highly recommended!"

"Very informative tour of Boston... Charles River and Cambridge. Ronak was very knowledgeable about the city and the run pace was completely at our discretion. Beats sitting on a Tour Bus!"

"I went on a 3-4 mile run with Jared; it was a great run, very personalized and not awkward at all. He was "midwest" friendly and gave me a great run around the city with history details. I would definitely do this again if I am back in Boston, and would recommend it to all of my friends. They even treat you to coffee at the end of your run!"
